Winchmore Hill, N21:

Winchmore Hill is a charming tree lined suburb in North London. The old village centre known as The Green, is an attractive focal point with old buildings, shops and restaurants clustered around two areas of open grass. The area boasts plenty of different styles of architecture ranging from 200+ year old properties to modern day design. Grovelands is the open parkland and woodland with its large lake, playground and café situated just off Broad Walk. Winchmore Hill British Railway station is situated close to The Green and the line runs into Moorgate in 27 minutes. Grange Park, N21:

Grange Park is a small residential area/village within Winchmore Hill. Grange Park is an unmistakeable entity in itself, characterised by its attractive houses and excellent local facilities. The area is extremely sought after and retains its warm village like feel. Cheyne Walk open space is situated as the name suggests at the end of Cheyne Walk and offers a large grassed and woodland area open to the public.

Grange Park British Railway station is in zone five and the line runs into Moorgate from Grange Park in 29 minutes, and connects to the underground system at Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington. The closest tube station is Southgate which is on the Piccadilly line. Excellent local primary and secondary schools are situated in close proximity, for more detail see the school section below.

West Enfield:

An area in North London to the West of Enfield Town. It includes roads such as The Ridgeway and Bycullah Road. Enfield Chase is the closest British Rail station; the train line runs into Moorgate and takes 31 minutes from Enfield Chase. Oakwood is the closest tube station and is on the Piccadilly line.

Enfield:

Enfield is located in the North of London. Enfield Town has a good variety of shops and restaurants. Recently the shopping centre has been redeveloped and the library has been extended. Nearby Enfield Town Park has multiple tennis courts, children’s playground and café, as well as plenty of open space. There are two stations close by; Enfield Chase (into Moorgate) and Enfield Town (into Liverpool Street). The closest underground station is Oakwood which is on the Piccadilly line.

Southgate:

Southgate is situated in North London to the East of Winchmore Hill. The High Street has a selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. At the heart of the area is the grade ??* listed Southgate underground station, designed by Charles Holden and opened in 1933. Southgate station is on the Piccadilly line and takes 25 minutes to get into King’s Cross.

Palmers Green:

Palmers Green is the area around Aldermans Hill and Green Lanes. The high street has a selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. Trains from Palmers Green British Rail station take 26 minutes to get into Moorgate. The station car park also hosts the Sunday morning Farmer’s Market, selling fresh local produce. Broomfield Park has a number of large ponds, a children’s play area, grassy fields and a boating lake. The nearest underground station is Southgate which is on the Piccadilly line and takes 25 minutes to get into King’s Cross.
